Looking Forward to VPAN’s 2025 Season
I'm looking forward to Visual and Performing Arts Newmarket's (VPAN) new concert series coming in September 2025, the York Region Classical Music Festival, as well as the return of the Young Artists Showcase in February 2025.
These concerts are great examples of how the arts enrich our lives and can bring people together.
This Classical Music series features the work of Bruch, Dohnanyi, Mozart, Schubert, and Schumann; music composed in the 18th, 19th, and 20th centuries and reimagined by generations of musicians down through the ages, including the accomplished performers playing in this series - Rivka Golani, Angela Park, Tadasuke lijima, and Peter McGillivray.
The always-popular Young Talent Showcase will once again feature talented young musicians, whose performances are sure to leave us in awe of what the future holds.
These concerts do more than entertain us; they bring us together and connect us to a universal human experience through the joy of listening to music.
On behalf of the residents and Council of the Town of Newmarket, congratulations and thanks to Visual and Performing Arts Newmarket, the musicians, and volunteers who make these concerts a reality. You r commitment and dedication to the arts make Newmarket and York Region a better place. Bravo!
